Looking for a nice solid upgrade guys, willing to spend up to about £300. I do a lot of gaming on my PC and not much else so not particularly interested in hyperthreading or anything like that, unless it does acutally provide a reasonable boost to performance?

Oh wow thanks for the replies guys. I'm rocking a 780ti at present and no, it's never been overclocked (my CPU I mean). It's just something I wouldn't feel particularly comfortable doing as I'm a little bit noobish when it comes to stuff like that. It's probably a heck of a lot easier then I think it is but still...
 
Ahhh thanks a bunch guys! At the mo I'm rocking a 780ti which has never been OC'd and is running with the stock fan, 8GB of DDR3 gaming ram (sorry, I cant quite remember the speed), a pre built Antec Kuhler 920 for the CPU, an Asus Xonar Essence and it all sits on an ASRock Z77 Extreme. Oh, and the case is an NZXT Phantom I believe. Just let me know if I missed anything out :)
