Just looking for some opinions. Im upgrading from a evga 560ti ds and was looking at either a 7970, a 680gtx or a 7950 crossfire setup. Any recomendations?

I went from a 560TI to a 680 (Night and day) If I was doing the same thing now, I would seiously be considering getting a 7970 ( I am a keen Overclocker) If you wanted to save a few pounds, the 7950 is not far behind and does offer some good overclocking potential. Finaly if you are not so keen on overclocking, the 670 does it "out the box" and competes with the 7950/70.

1 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £297.95

Any of those 3 would tempt me.

What res do you play at? At 1080p I can't imagine there is much a 560gti can't handle, it's above that point you can benefit from the extra power.

I went from a 560ti then to a 448core 560ti and now a windforce 670 3X. I game at 1080p and the difference is massive in pretty much any game I play, I was never content with the performance of the other two cards but the 670 is superb. Just my 2p

I have two gigabyte hd7870`s. Just bought the second one in the price cuts. Really pleased with them in the games I play. Run pretty cool and perform great

Im basically moving to a 2-3 monitor setup. Mainly play eve online but my gf does a lot of video editing. Got a budget of around 500-600. I overclock everything on my systems so thats why i was leaning towards a 7970. But im over in canada just now and can get pretty good pricing on 7950s!

Do EVGA still do the upgrade deals that they used to? I think it involved sending back your old card for a credit against the purchase of a new one....or am I mad (and completely wrong)?
