Upgrading from 6870

I've got about £150 to spend. These are the two card I'm looking at.

GTX660
and
270X

The 270X seems to out perform the GTX660. Is there anything I should be looking for to get the best version on the 270X? Is there any reason to get a GTX660?

Don't get the 660 unless you specifically require an Nvidia feature.

There seems to be a few games out there that use Nvidia specific hardware, but I guess that is by no means a decent reason to spend the same amount of money for less performance.

You can get a 7970/280x for £150 ish (I'm selling 2 7970s for a friend) and 290x/780s are going for £200 ish!

Yup! A large portion of it is mining gear which is being sold, but you do get some seriously amazing deals!
