Upgrading from a 5770

Hey guys, I havent used this forum in ages and I thought I should ^^.

I am looking to upgrade my ATI Radeon HD 5770 1Gb GDDR5 gfx card and was looking at the Radeon HD 7790.

Would this be a worthy upgrade for me?

I'm looking at maybe these two -

I prefer the HIS Brand cus it has higher clocks but the MSI has twice the gfx memory.

Running on -

AMD Phenom II X4 965
8Gb DDR3 RAM @ 1333MHz
1920 x 1080 Main Monitor
1600 x 900 Second Monitor

If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated

If you're thinking of spending £110 just go for the 7850 at £125

yeah 7850 and clock that 965 up a bit.

Iv just upgraded from the same card as you to a xfx 7850 ghost. And the diffrence is amazing.
Can max out pretty much any game.

But you will have to clock your chip up abit.
Might bottleneck the 7850.

I've done this exact update (5770 --> 7850) and the result was pretty much a doubling of performance.

I really think the 7850 is the way to go.
