i'm thinking of upgrading my gpu for something that will rn great at 1920 by 1080 res. I had a quick look at gtx 580 but the price seems a bit steep for me at the moment. What card would guys suggest?

Upgrading from a gtx 260

I currently have p45 +qx6850 + 4gb ram. But will be upgrading that soon. My budget is about £300. I have to say though that i would like something quiet, from what i've read the gtx 480 seems to generate a lot of heat and is noisy, but i might be wrong

I already got £500 set aside to upgrade my mobo+cpu+ram and all. I would only like to know what gpu i could get that would run my games at 1920 by 1050 and not cost me a fortune. From what i've read ati runs real hot and is kinda noisy, so i'm gonna stick to nvidia atm. Just really unsure which one to go for. Gtx 480 seems to high high power consumption and loud/hot.
