It's been a year since i completed my build and i'm sick of this case! Having to clean out the dust from my 8800 gtx every few weeks is getting annoying and as i've added more hardrives to the mix the cable management has gone out of the window (not that there was much cable management to start with)

So i'm looking at ordering a new case and wondered what the best options were - I'm looking to spend up to £150 and would like something thats more cable management friendly than the 900 and has a bit more room on the inside to work with

Thanks in advance!

Just been looking at this case and it seems perfect, just read a review though and apparently it can only take a graphics card up to 10.5" in length - I've got a 8800gtx and its 11" - I know you can remove one of the hardrive bay's but i have 4 hdd's so 1 wouldn't be able to fit :(

Does anyone know if there is any wriggle room for the 8800 to fit in there without having to remove the top bay?

The Silverstone fortress can take a longer card but you have to remove the middle 3.5" drive bay, so restricting you to the bottom bay which has room for 3 x 3.5" drives (but you could always use a 5.25" bay with an adaptor of course)

If you look towards the bottom of this page you'll see the pics showing how a 12" Workstation level GPU can be fitted.

Or of course you can dremel out a part of the top bay, which is what I was considering too...

If you want working space with long graphics card then everything which can't take E-ATX motherboard is small.

For that budget Lian Li A70/71 is pretty much the most spacious case and could take ~13.5" cards without removing anything:

With some work it can hide lot of cables:

With that tight spacing and airflow restricting HDD cage+tray of Fortress I would prefer at least leaving one empty bay after every two drives so that there's good airflow at least on one side of drive.

Well i decided to go with the fortress, will leave out the top cage (although its not for my 8800gtx anymore, that blew up this morning so i ordered a 260gtx while i was at it!)

Will post pictures when i've sorted everything out!
