I'm a little out of the loop as I haven't upgraded for a while. I want to go back to Nvidia for my next upgrade and my budget is £150 max, the card must be cool and quiet. I'll be upgrading from an ATI 5770, all advice appreciated.

nVidia = 650Ti Boost.
However 7850 is the same price and has more overclocking potential.
Having made the jump myself from 5770 to 7850, there is about a doubling of performance. I would expect the same from the 650Ti Boost.

I have just been lazy for the last couple of years and I basically have a 2 year gap in my hardware knowledge. However, the simple answer is that I had always used Nvidia before trying the ATI and I'm still an Nvidia snob deep down! The 5770 has been ok though.
1920x1080 at moment but looking to accommodate a possible monitor upgrade. i7 920 is my chip.
