Time has come that my faithful 290X is starting to struggle with some games and it's been a great card.

I've no particular ATI/Nvidia issues - happy with either.

Gaming is normally 1920x1080.

What are my options? RX 480 seems decent? Not bothered about the latest and greatest, i don't tend to upgrade that often

£200 budget or there abouts, needs dual dvi outputs for 2 monitors.

I think it's more a testiment to AMD's driver improvements than anything else, On release it was being beaten out by the 780ti which is now a long way behind the 290 in just about all the new releases.

hmm - ok. I guess looking around I see these cards (290X) still go for around £100 2nd hand. Budget could stretch to £250 or so. Like I say - not that bothered about new stuff (Vega) etc but if that forces the current gen of cards down a bit in price fair enough.
