Upgrading from H50 to custom loop?

yeh thats it, everyone has there own way of doing it, but thats what most go for, as its a really tight tube fit on the barb..

All u have to do to get the tube onto the barb, is tip the end in hot water for a bit, then it will be lose enough to push onto the barb, then when it cools down, its a really tight fit.

Just read this, and got me thinking.... Expanding on the resevoir idea, has anyone tried to connect their PC's water cooling to a conventional domestic radiator?

I realise this may be a slightly bizarre idea, but I'm sitting in a cold Edwardian flat which could do with some extra heating!

Probably not worth it. If you think about it you'll warm the room exactly the same amount with a regular rad but you'll cool your processor much more efficiently at the same time. A house radiator's meant to be much hotter than room temperature, that's how it provides heat - through temperature difference - so for it to properly cool your CPU, the water would have to be pretty warm.
