Guys, wanted your opinion on 3 things:

1. Was thinking about saving for a Hazro HZ27WC 8-Bit and was wondering what the quality was like, is it worth it over what I've got at the moment?

2. I may buy 3 if I do get them and go down the route of eyefinity, will 2 6970's be able to handle 3 of these babies, mainly for gaming and photo editing...

3. Final question - what is the power draw on these things, I tend to run monitors with around 50% brightness, will I be hating my bills if I do that with 3 of these?

I also have the Hanns G and have the Hazro upgrade itch. Can't really justify it at the moment but I am hereby subscribed to this thread for some drooling and window shopping :)

I would imagine that CrossFired HD 6970's will struggle at 7680x1440 resolution, at least in the more demanding games.

You'll also have fun connecting the monitors remembering that they only have a dual link DVI-D connection.

You can only use the outputs from 1 card in CrossFire.

A HD 6970 only has 1 dual link DVI connector so you're presumably going to need 2 active (mini?) DisplayPort to Dual link DVI-D adapters.

According to tftcentral
Max brightness 72.5W
Calibrated Settings 43.6W
Standby 3.4W

Which is all below the <110W Hazro suggests.
Calibration in this case was pretty much equal to set ecomode to 50% which would be what you'd do yourself as well. So are you going to hate your powerbill? I'd say the videocards are going up the bill quite a bit more.

As for the videocards.. I've no idea. Might be worth holding out till the next gen (7xxx) though.

Thanks guys. Might have to get saving, I didn't realise that I could only use the 1 6950 to connect to monitors using crossfire. May be a bit problematic...
