upgrading from HD 5770

in the next 2 or 3 weeks im wanting to upgrade from my HD 5770 budget will be around £260 - £300 but i don't know what to choose red or green doesn't really matter.
opinions and reasons please.

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor(4CPUs), ~3.6GHz
4GB Corsair XMS3
Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P (mobo)
windows 7 64

Additional, im housing all this inside an NZXT phantom white in case anyone was wondering because i know some cards can be huge

That PSU *should* be alright, as long as it's fairly recent, but if you've got spare budget I'd be tempted to buy a nice Corsair unit.

The 6970 2GB will perform identically to a 6950 2GB that's had its BIOS flashed to that of a 6970. I believe the Twin Frozr II 6950 is ideal, and you'll end up with a cooler (and hence more overclockable) card for less money.
