upgrading from HD7850 budget 250 max

Hmm looks like I was in the right ball park with my guesses. Thanks for the 970 tip so between the 480 and 1060.

Really tempted by the 1060 ..

decisions decisions.... I think i'll sleep on it and read more reviews... :p


What likes the noise from the 480?

My son plays overwatch mostly.

I'm sure we'll be getting FIFA 17 and I like a bit of WoW and GTA V.

Wouldn't mind getting battlefield as well.

thanks for the recommendations on the cards.

I currently have the ICEQ 7850 great card and still running smooth.

Now onto the mechinical keyboard forum as I need a qwerty.... :p

When you talk about clean install do you mean windows or just the gfx drivers and software?
 
I can't wait to get ordering just badgering the wife for clearance.

Was great to see a BSOD when my son was playing overwatch yesterday....

The end is nigh for this card. Not bad though it's lasted since 2012.

I think 4 years between upgrades is good going.

just checked and I only have 6 pin PCI-E power connectors.
