Hi All

Long time lurker first time poster etc.....

As the thread title says im looking to, finally, upgrade my GPU from my current GTS250.
So far I had set my mind on the Asus GTX960 4GB Strix but, am after some opinions/recommendations first.

In terms of my PC, I can fit a card of up to 10.5 possibly 11in in length with one 6pin power connector available.

In terms of playing the more recent games, am I aiming a bit high with the 960? Generally I like to play sim games with the odd FPS, current favorite game is Rocket League.

At the same time I will probably upgrade my monitor too to hook up the HD outputs etc....

Thanks guys!

What is the rest of your PC spec including Power supply etc?

Would you consider second hand GPU's?

Whatever you get because you make the hardware last as long as possible make sure to buy the latest generation available which'll be a 10 series from Nvidia or a 400 series from AMD, It's also worth noting that long term support seems to show better life from AMD cards, Also note that Nvidia's latest cards are still not offering 100% support for the newer api's (this is why I'm currently giving Nvidia a miss until they have the hardware support that's expected with there next architecture).
