My contract with 3 is up next month and I have decided that I need a new provider,

I can't get a 3g signal using 3 in work and this is really the only time I would use it (I use wifi the rest of the time)

I am currently using a Nokia N95 with unlimited internet for £29 a month (I don't really care about texts and calls as I only use around 100 of each a month)

I have been looking at touch screen phones and am having a few difficulties choosing between the lg Renoir, Samsung omnia, and the htc touch HD,
The Renoir puts me off at it seems like nothing will support is as it doesn't look like it uses windows mobile.

I have never had a touch screen phone before but am looking for something bug free, My N95 has never crashed on me since the new firmware.

I am willing to spend about £35-£40 a month, but considering that it will only be for online use I would prefer cheaper.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

my contract with T-Mobile ends this month so i think I'm gonna upgrade my n95 to G1 as it's best offer they have at the moment.

Why not have a look at the N96. I upgraded my N95 for the N96. I cost my nothing to stay on my current contract as well. Unlimited text & internet and 600 mins £35 a month but am with Vodafone :)

pointless upgrade from n95 to n96. I did it but looking to sell both n95 and n96 to get something different i think.

n95 is better than n96 as well

I have had a look at the n96 and it seems exactly the same as my n95 but with worse battery life,

Plus I want something touch screen really,

The iphone 3g looks ok but a friend of mine has one and when he was showing it off for about 10 minutes it crashed 3 times

I found that the N96 battery is much better than my N95. I never had the 8GB version. I just had the original one. So for me its a much better mobile, as the Maps now work as well, and having a much bigger storage space works great for me. :)

Each to their own in many ways. My mate has the I-Phone, he loves it, no issues for him so far. Sounds like your mate has just been unlucky.

Last night I placed an order on mobiles.co.uk for the Touch HD and on the website it said "limited stock, Order now to avoid disappointment"

So I ordered it only to recieve a text message this afternoon saying that it isn't in stock and to phone the sales team, Gave them a ring and they said it will be 3-4 weeks before it is back in stock,

No other companies that I know of have an offer anywhere near as good as the offer I chose though which was:-

Free handset,
600 mins,
500 texts,
Unlimited internet,
5 months half price line rental
Bluetooth headset

All for £35 a month for 18 months on o2 so do you all think it is worth sitting it out?

Seeing as orange also do this phone does anyone know of any orange deals that could compete?

Thanks
