Hi

Had my trusty Samsung Galaxy S9+ 128gb since before lockdown, has performed fine. But lately the battery does not keep its charge as much throughout the day - even quicker if i use the camera!

Thinking of the S20+ as I am SIM only (£12 per month or so EE)

Anything else I should look at, I do not want to spend a lot. I can get a S20+ off of Amazon for £170 or so

Also, when setting up whatever next Samsung I get - is it easy to basically send everything over from my S9 to the new phone - Thinks like Images / Videos / Notes / WhatsApp Chats

Many thanks all of you

I'm assuming Samsung Smart Switch works on the S9 so you'll be good if so. Transfers almost everything (not WhatsApp backups though for some reason, use the inbuilt backup/restore) You'll maybe still need to log into a few apps, banking apps will transfer the app but not login details.

An S20 is old now, so even if looked after the battery might not be great (?) GiffGaff refurbs might be a good option for you, S21 seems nice and cheap. I've always had decent condition phones from them, returns or repairs are simple enough and you do get warranty (longer the better condition you buy)

S21 FE and S22+ were my last two phones and I did not notice that much difference to be honest except the 22+ had a much better build quality and has the more durable glass

Yes the s22 is a better option, and you still get ui8
Use smart switch to swap but banking apps may be awkward so you may have to speak to your bank.
