Upgrading from Tesco PAYG Lite and keeping number?

I am currently on Tesco PAYG Lite, but I want to upgrade to one of the pay monthly phone deals they have on their website.

Is it possible somehow (Maybe I just suck at Google) to take a deal from their site, and keep the same number from my PAYG Lite deal?

If it is...please let this phone newbie know how.

Speak to Tesco, they may be able to transfer the number to the deal without a need of a PAC code if not - they will give you the the pac code and when your new sim arrives you can use the online web form to start the number port process (even though your staying with Tesco)

my Tesco PAYG sim broke and to save time they said get another one from a store and ring us back and we will move your number and money left to the new sim, I did that and had the new sim with my old number up and running in 15 mins.
so they can do it fast if they want too
