Upgrading gaming headset

Got some old Creative Fatal1tys with onboard sound at the minute, enjoy playing MW3 and listening to music, was wondering what I should do to upgrade.

Would love to get some Astro A40's but they are a little pricey, unsure how good they even are at that price too.

Have a Xonar DG I can shove into my new PC, or get something better.

Looking to spend under £150

Astro's aren't that great.
Sennheiser PC360. Highly rated.
Bought mine a week ago, best headset I've used by a long shot.
Can be had for £120 if you look around.

Extremely tempted to buy a set for £120. Just thinking maybe need some more input until I buy it

I can vouch for the PC360's ive had them for over a year and they are excellent. Its a pair of HD595's (or HD555's i cant remember) with a very good mic attached, great sound quality from the headset itself and the mic.

I was hesitant about buying them, but they are worth it in my opinion.
