Bit of advice. Due to a failing mobo on my dads pc.

I want to upgrade my 4850 card and Ive got about 200 pounds to spend.

Im gonna give my old card (4850) to my dad but he needs a new mobo.

He has [email protected] on stock and 2 GB ddr6400.

I have an asus p5qpro with a E8400 and 4 gb ddr6400

Any suggestions on a my new card and my Dads new mobo?

Cheers

the 4890 is a pretty good card at around £130-160, should be a reasonable upgrade to your 4850.

As for dx11, if £200 is your budget than a 5770 is your only option, otherwise it's trying to stretch for a 5850.

There also nvidia options but I don't know enough about their performance/pricing and such.
