at some point in the (near) future i will most likely be upgrading my GPU once again. currently i look at upgrading parts in stages in 6 month intervals. this means i will be looking for a new GPU around May/June.

There are a few things which i would like to know before planning ahead to save money for the upcoming upgrade.

first, will there be some new GPU's on the market before then. if so, are there any specs and prices?

second, i have always preferred getting X2 version cards, mainly because my old motherboard only had 1 PCIEx16 slot, but i got a new mobo over xmas and i now have 2 PCIE 2.0 slots available to me. which shall i look at for best performance. 1 X2 type card or 2 single cards?

high performance out of the box is preferred as i dont like to OC my GPU

New nVidia parts are out in the next week or so, including a dual GPU GTX280/260 (hybrid of the two).

Things three months down the line will be very different from now, so wait and ask again then really :)
