Upgrading Graphcs for cousin...

Hey Guys,

My cousin wants to buy a new GF card as the current one he has it rubbish. (Not sure what it is)

He has asked me what the best GF card is fo £100 budget on a 20" screen. Gaming is what he likes

ATI's 4850 is the budget wonder card of the minute, can be had for £100 and if your cousins got a compatible motherboard they could crossfire it at a later date for a further performance increase.

Nothing but at the £100 mark they cant touch ATI at the moment.

Ah OK man, I thought the 8800GTS would be in with a shout though?

Can`t disagree about the 4850, but I only paid £123 for a 1Gb version and they seem to have crept up a bit since which is why I got a 4870 1Gb when I RMAd my 4850 as, like I said prices had gone up and I though it was worth paying an extra £48 ... I would only have gone on the **** if I hadn`t spent it on that

I would have to say a second hand 8800gt or even a new one, great for overclocking great price and at a later date just sli them.
