Afternoon Overclockers,
I am after upgrading my graphics card as currently it is in a state of overheating often on games. Although over 2011 i will be upgrading my system slowly so will require something at budget but also something i can use in my new up-coming system to be.

My current PC Spec is as follows
  • AMD Phenom II x3 720 Processor 2.81GHz
  • 4.00GB Ram - 2x2GB Duel
  • 32bit Windows 7
  • Geforce 6600 GT
  • Corsair VX 550w PSU

My budget is around the £100 mark currently and i do believe my entire pc might require a upgrade (*Sadly) but currently as it stands i can not.

I mainly will be playing mmo (DC Universe) when it arrives but also other mmos/games but i am not entirely interested in full detail as most of you with these high powered systems :P

I Thank everyone in advanced for the advise :) also i am looking to buy this tonight/tomorrow to get it in before xmas.

What motherboard do you have BTW??

Also, have you tried unlocking and overclocking your CPU??

TBH,there is no real need to spend upgrade your PC in the next year or so apart from the graphics card.

With your budget I would get an HD5770 1GB. If you can stretch to around £110 to £120 you can get a GTX460 768MB.

Thanks for the speedy response :D, great news to know that the rest of my pc should last another year or so.

I can happy push a few extra quid here and there also my motherboard i think is
Asrock - AMD 939Duel-SATA2 - M4A79 Deluxe

also i have a Samsung SM2333SW 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor
