Hi all,

I am considering upgrading my current graphics card on a Tiny machine with a RADEON 9250 to a second hand ATI Radeon X1300PRO which came from a Dell computer which was factory fit. My question is would this newer card be compatible with the Tiny computer (this computer is appropriately 10 years old). see specification below.

Hi BriT,

lol:) I would love to get a new PC but currently this will have to do as money is tight and it is only used for basic things anyway e.g. email, internet and the occasional DVD and will have to do until it dies!! (unfortunately) :D

Unfortunately this will not work. The Radeon 9250 uses an old AGP Graphics Port.
While the ATI Radeon X1300PRO uses PCI-Express X16 Port.

You can only use another AGP Graphics card, I have a 9250 also in an old PC and it does fine for browsing Internet/ reading E-Mail ETC.

May I ask why you want to upgrade your Graphics Card?

Hi Emphacy,

Ok thanks for the information:( . The reason why I want to upgrade is because the ATI Radeon X1300PRO is from another computer which I have which I just recently upgraded and it was sitting around doing nothing and though that it would be quicker and easier to add it to the Tiny computer rather than trying the sell it but it looks like it is destined for ebay :)

Thanks once again
