Upgrading Hardware + Vista (help)

Im looking to upgrade my PC to Vista. I use my PC for web Design and Graphics Design but also use it for personal use.

My current specs are -

- Pentium 4 640 with HT
- 2 x 512mb PC2-4300 (266Mhz)
- 256mb ATI Radion X600
- Windows Xp Media Center Edition 2005

I want to upgrade to windows vista ultimate edition and put a Digital TV card in. Plus i want to add some Ram.

Do you have any recomendations? are there and good tv cards compatable with vista? and would i be better buying a set of 2GB RAM and taking my old ram out rarther than trying to match the speeds?

A 2GB kit would be a start, not sure about a TV card though

do you specifically need things like bitlocker/rdp and ability to join a domain (i think)? if not just get home premium and save yourself some money.
