obv need board/ram/cooler

opinion? Thanks

You could reuse your current cooler first off and see how it copes. Just a matter of buying a small tube of thermal paste such as the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for £3.49. Obviously you will need something to clean the old paste off with as well if you don't have anything.

As for the board and ram then something like this ?

You would need to check how much clearance you have for a bigger cooler, as Corsair website says that case can take a 170mm cooler but a hardware review states differently. I wouldn't like to suggest something that might not fit.

Corsair says 170mm (Under tech specs):

This Vortez review suggests that a 160mm might not fit:

Your current cooler is 153mm according to the spec on Gelid website

Ok lee thanks for the info

Might be better for a new case and just go AIO? i know budget is crap but do you know of anything which might not break the budget by much taking in to account a motherboard @ £120 and paste @ £5 and Ram @ £150

You could go with something like this for around £30 over your top budget. The Noctua colour scheme isn't to everyone's taste but they make nice quiet coolers. Also it doesn't block any ram slots so taller ram isn't a problem.
