I've got a HP Pavilion DV9030EA that I've had for a few years that my missus is now going to be using for a LAN machine.

Going to be upgrading the RAM to 4GB but I was wondering if anyone knows that it's possible to upgrade the Go7600 to an 8600M GT, they both use the MXM II interface but there appear to be a few condratictory statements on various statements.

If anyone could advise then it'd be appreciated.

Sorry to double post, but if anyone has any experience with taking one of these apart it'd be helpfull. I've removed the bottom chassis screws but the chassis seems reluctant to come off.

The graphics are intergrated on this model, its not a removable card.

All the screws in the base need to come out, also the wifi card holds 2 screws, also the battery compartment screws, then the strip cover on top then the keyboard, then screws in the top chasis.
