Hi All,

I am looking for some advice with upgrading my setup.

Currently I have the following monitors which both have TN panels:
27" Dell 2716DG
24" BenQ XL2411

Is it worth upgrading to one bigger monitor like the following which all have VA panels:

Gigabyte G34WQC Curved 34" VA 1500R
MSI Optix MAG342CQRV VA 1500R
Samsung Odyssey G5 LC34G55TWWRXXU 1000R

Or would it be better to upgrade my main monitor (the Dell) and keep the Dell or BenQ as a secondary?

E.G:
LG 27GN850-B Nano IPS

The main games I currently play are:
Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa Competizione
F1 2019
Resident Evil 2
Call of Duty
World of Tanks
World of Warcraft

Please note I would prefer to use a VESA mount instead of having it on the normal stand. Open to all suggestions.

VA would improve contrast and black level good amount.
But black/dark shade starting transitions are really slow compared to other LCD types, getting name "black smear":

Also "black crush" from VA's horizontal gamma shift could show up in some situations.
For example dark theme of this and other forums would be high chance content for showing it.

That LG IPS has one of the best response times, but contrast is from dozen years ago.
This MSI would have approaching 50% higher contrast and with VESA mount stand with barely any adjustments wouldn't matter.

Hi Both,

Thank you for the replies.

Out of interest what monitors do you both use?

Also what are your thoughts on the following monitor msi mag274qrf-qd in comparison to the msi optix G273QF?
