Upgrading motherboard - Quick question

Hi, I'm upgrading my motherboard and I was wondering if I would need to re-install Windows XP ?

If it's a different chipset then it's advisable to start with a clean install.

You don't need to re-install but if its a different chipset you will have to reactivate by phone. Just tell them you motherboard failed and you had to replace it, and obviously install new drivers for mobo.
