Upgrading my 5870.

I'm surprised that my 5870 that it lasted me this long but I feel like upgrade it and putting this 5870 into another small/home media pc instead. I want to get a new one for my current system but I don't want to break my bank.

Not particularly looking for a big ass GPU to play ultra-high settings as I only play few games. I currently looking at 270x, 280 or gtx 760 as I think they fit my budget without exceeding £200.

CPU: i5 Haswell 4650
Mobo: gigabyte h87-hd3
Memory: 8gb corsair

Bump it by £20 odd quid and get a 290.

The extra £20 will buy you a lot of gpu.

Yeah but not really looking for more than £160-70 budget mark though. I know few more quid and i will get something higher but I wanna get SSD in addition as well.

Then it's a choice between a GTX 760 or a 280x.

760 or 970 depending on budget

I'd wait until the end of the month to see what the 960 is like.

I have 2 5870s at the moment and still running great even today! I'd recommend you save a bit more though and get a GTX970, best 'bang for the buck' last time I checked, get a SSD after (even though they also make hell of a difference for loading times anyway)
