(I thought I would post here then in multiple forum pages)

So at the moment im thinking to upgrading some of my current hardware in my build. (money will not be an issue since i will be saving up for the components)

So I want to upgrade my Motherboard
my motherboard currently is a - GA-78LMT-USB3-Socket AM3+
I want to upgrade to a Motherboard that can support up to 2 GPU's (GPU's I will be having are zotac geforce gtx 670)

(my case is an Zalaman z12 plus, my CPU is an AMD FX-4170 4.2 ghz am3+, my RAM is geil black dragon 8gb)

I would also like to upgrade my PSU to a fully modular one.

Also, im seeing a lot about SLI bridges, are they worth having?

you need a SLI bridge to connect both cards together to make SLI work

when you buy a graphics card or a motherboard new, they should come with them

think that processor will bottleneck with two 670

sli bridge should have come with your motherboard or will come with your new one.

some power supplys some are modular bar 24pin

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Professional Series HX+ 850W '80+ Gold' Modular Power Supply (CP-9020032-UK) £129.95
1 x Seasonic X-Series 650w '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £119.99
1 x OCZ ZT 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply £89.99
1 x Akasa Venom 750w Modular '80 Plus' Power Supply £79.99
1 x Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020061-UK) £73.99
Total : £506.51 (includes shipping : £10.50).

Okay my current build (I have no budget at the moment because I will be saving up for it)
Case - Zalaman z12 plus
Motherboard - GA-78LMT-USB3-Socket AM3+
CPU - AMD FX-4170 4.2 ghz am3+
RAM - Geil black dragon 8gb
PSU - corsair VX 550W
GPU - Zotac geforce GTX 670

I have no intention of upgrading the case or the gpu since i got them last week lol the rest are around a year old..

Yeah the 4170 is pretty poor, I wouldn't be suprised if it was bottlenecking a single 670.

Really you need a 8320 or a 4670(k).. Both require a new motherboard as the 8320 will throttle on your current board. You need a 970-990 board.

This will be a massive outlay.. A good £250 plus a new psu £70+ then the price of another 670...
