So it's finally time to get rid of my trusty 7950 cross fire and upgrade to a 980ti.

Thing is, I have a 4 monitor set up at the moment and have two displays running on Active DVI to MiniDP adapters. Thing is, the new GPU only has Display ports, not Mini.

My question is, can i keep the current active adapters I have at the moment and just get a MiniDP to DP adapter for them and still have them work, or am I going to have to buy completely new adapters?

I don't believe NVidia GPUs require active adapters at all (seems to be just an AMD thing prior to the 3XX series), so a simple DVI to DP cable should suffice.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I just checked my G1 Gaming box, and the website to the GPU and it doesn't say I need active at all.

Yeah. I just checked the Nvidia site too and it doesn't mention anything about adapters being needed or anything but I just want to make 100% sure.

Aaaaaand I just checked my monitors,. they're HDMI output. Not DVI. Don't know if that matters or not.
