I'm looking at upgrading the headunit in my '02 Astra Mk4 so I can get some iPod/USB connectivity going; I've been using an FM transmitter recently and it's pretty terrible. I've got my eye on this JVC KD-X40E. Seems to have everything I want, it's quite cheap, looks fairly sensible and the lighting will match the red/orange of the Astra.
However, how can I find out what assortment of cables I need for this? My car has steering wheel controls so I presumably will need adapters for that too. The current Vauxhall headunit displays radio/music data on the LCD screen above the centre console, presumably that functionality would be lost?
