nothing.. thats still a good system

As platinum87 says that is a good system, what does it not do that you want it to? There are a few changes you could make but most will probably not offer a performance benefit in line with the cost.

Have you tried overclocking yet? And how much Ram do you have? Those are the two cheapest areas to try for increased speed.

It wont be cost effective, but you could improve on the Q6600 by getting the newer Quads, like the Q9450. You could swap your GTX for a ATi 4870, and you could bump your ram up to PC8500. I don't really know what your current system couldnt run though, apart from the obvious ;)

Unless you haven't yet overclocked your system, I would just leave it as it is. There is nothing wrong with it at the moment, and it still runs with the higher end systems around today.

2 GB of ram atm, i was looking at upgrading the GFX card mainly because of the new chipsets.

I'd consider 4gb of PC6400 and overclocking since it is relatively cheap at ~£60 for the Ram and ~£30 for a good cooler (if you don't already have one), this should give you a fair bit of a boost. The Ram would be especially handy if you are on Vista.

Whats a good CPU cooler then ?

Thanks.
