I would like to upgrade my MB don't want to go i7 route so will want a board that will take my E6600 for a little then when money allows I would like to get a quad core 45nm some thing like the 9650, I know nothing about MB but if you can give me an idea then I can google each board and see which works better for me, will only use 1 Graphics card untill I can get a new Nvidea in a month or 2 and then have 2 cards in sli, awaiting your views with thanks.
Regards, Wayne...
Edit: Forgot to say I am working with limited funds so a second user board would be considered from the MM..

I'd go with RJC on the Gigabyte front, great boards. I'd try and get an as upto date chipset as you can though. The 775 socket boards havent had any refreshes for a while due to the 7i chips comming out. If your budget can go as far as £100 id have a look at this. This has got a x48 which was one of the last chipsets out, it'll have better support if you want to head down the sli route and if you want to pop a faster chip in at a later point.
