Ok, so I got a 6yo i7 920 which is gonna get replace with the following parts:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £703.00
(includes shipping: £11.10)

and as I would like to use my old parts which are working fine, I would like to know if there is any compatibility issue or not.

Here are the components that I would like to use:

-Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650W SLI
-Antec P183 Advanced Super Mid Tower
-Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 only to reuse the 2x Noctua 120x25mm NF-P12 Quiet Fan 54.3 CFM
-Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5

So here are my questions:

-Will the motherboard and cooler fit on the case? Or I will have to do some DIY on the case behind the cpu place to anchor/fit the cooler block?

-I was thinking as well to use the 2x NF-P12 fans on radiator instead of the ones that come by default, I know the performance will be worse (airflow: 62.74 CFM corsair vs 54.325 CFM noctua and SP: 3.1 mm/H20 corsair vs 1.68 mm/H2O) but the quietness will increase, so how much will I gimp the cooler if I would like to achieve an OC of 4 to 4.5Ghz let's say?

-Will my PSU of 650W be enough for OC of 4.5Ghz + the Radeon 6970 which if I remember correctly was consuming pretty much a lot...

-And last question, as you may notice there are 2 memory RAM picked, which memory to pick up? 3000 or 3200? taking into account that they will get OC as well, I would like to know which one will give less issues with the Gigabyte motherboard and system in general?

Thanks in advance,
Cheers

Not to sure on the case ill have to check dimensions - but with the Noctua NH-U-12P, you should have enough cooling for a 4.5 Ghz OC so could save yourself some money and invest it elsewhere.

The PSU will be fine the skylake as standard consumes less than older cpu's.

Check motherboard compatibility, the motherboard may need a bios update anyway when you've purchased it...i bought 3000 Mhz myself i've read that at these speeds and after 2666 it's barely any difference in gaming (a few fps), i got 3000Mhz more out of enthusiasm than requirement.

I would like to use the H80 and let the noctua for other project, also, can the brackets of the noctua that I use for the lga 1366 socket be reused on the 1156 socket?

Anyone out there with an H80 AIO could tell me the following measures:

fan+rad+fan total width and also how much space do the brackets require behind the motherboard; I ask this because I think on the Antec P183 I have like 0.5 to 1cm between the motherboard and the case.

Cheers
