Hi, I want to upgrade my PC but I am not sure what I need. It's just generally slow so I am thinking adding SSD and more RAM, but the thing is my motherboard is a bit limited and if I change it, it basically means i am changing the whole PC.
Currently,
Q6600 2.4GHz
Gigabyte p35 DS3R (idk how well it supports DDR3, but up to 8GB, I believe).
8800GT 512mb
OCZ 2GB 6400 (800 MHz)
Lian Li PC7+
As I said, I just want to make it faster and also kinda want to upgrade my GPU but they are all expensive, so something that is mid range will be good. Can you please recommend me components and make sure they're compatible.
