Hey guys,
I'm currently running at Core 2 Duo T7300 in my Laptop (Dell 1750) which uses a GM45 Chipset and a PGA478 socket.
The T7300 is not officially supported by the chipset but runs anyway, however my chipset does say it supports a QX9300 (Quad core).
Will my board support this chip? or will it refuse to POST alltogether?
They are both PGA478 sockets, and the chipset officially supports it ... so I dont see why not? I know the TDP is higher, but i'm willing to try it out.
Thanks.
