Upgrading old computer for gaming

I have an old computer with

• e4300 dual core (oc'd to 3GHz)
• x1950 graphics card
• 2GB Ram
• P5n-e motherboard

What is the most cost effective way (if any) of upgrading this computer for Skyrim and Rage?

Any advice appreciated.

With Processor definately go with the i5 2500k as that handles pretty much anything.

Q6600, 2 gig ram & mayby a 5770, all need to be second hand.
