Upgrading PC advice

I brought the OcUK Gaming Vision VR Gaming PC - Intel 8th Generation 3.6GHz Quad Core last year..
Intel Core i3-8100 3.6GHz (Coffee Lake) Quad Core Processor
Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C14 2400MHz
Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 6144MB
I want to upgrade my mobo and CPU as i cant overclock my current one, i think the graphic card is pretty solid for now. Any advice on which cpu to go for which will last and be able to overclock.

I would wait until July and the release of Zen 2 for your upgrade (although for Ryzen you would need 3000MHz memory ideally).

What resolution are you gaming at and what is your motherboard?
