upgrading PC at this time

Hi, I am thinking of upgrading my PC however I am aware that GPU market is very limited and overpriced currently so I am thinking of keeping my current graphic card while upgrading the rest.

My question is whether it is good idea or it is better to wait?

My spec
Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
i5-6600k
16gb 2333mhz ram

If I actually decide to upgrade then is my gpu can become a bottleneck? I don't have components selected but I was planning to spend 800 pounds on the PC without GPU and monitor.

Those parts are fairly well-balanced, really you'd need to do everything to get significantly more performance.

Budget, entire PC without a new GPU?

Your best off going for a prebuilt if you want something with a new GPU, RTX 3070 PC's start around £1300
