I am currently looking at upgrading my PC prior to the release of Diablo 3 of May 15th.
My current specs are:-
MOBO: Asus P5QL
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 (2.8 Ghz)
RAM: 6.0GB Corsair DDR2 800mhz XMS2 (I had 8.0GB but one stick went bad)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT 1GB
PSU: 400W
Case: Antec Three Hundred (included this in case it has an impact on the maximum size of card it can contain.)
The recommended specs for Diablo 3 are:-
CPU: Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
RAM: 2GB
GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M or ATI Radeon™ HD 4670 or better
From the above it appears I would only need to upgrade my graphics card, what would people suggest, bearing in mind I do not play many pc games.
Is it likely that with a new graphics card, I may need a bigger power supply?
Would is also be beneficial to correct the imbalance with the RAM?
Thanks,
Sean
