I am currently looking at upgrading my PC prior to the release of Diablo 3 of May 15th.

My current specs are:-

MOBO: Asus P5QL
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 (2.8 Ghz)
RAM: 6.0GB Corsair DDR2 800mhz XMS2 (I had 8.0GB but one stick went bad)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT 1GB
PSU: 400W
Case: Antec Three Hundred (included this in case it has an impact on the maximum size of card it can contain.)

The recommended specs for Diablo 3 are:-

CPU: Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
RAM: 2GB
GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M or ATI Radeon™ HD 4670 or better

From the above it appears I would only need to upgrade my graphics card, what would people suggest, bearing in mind I do not play many pc games.

Is it likely that with a new graphics card, I may need a bigger power supply?

Would is also be beneficial to correct the imbalance with the RAM?

Thanks,

Sean

check what the minimum spec's are for the game, if you system is up to it, get the game first and see how it runs.

i'd leave the memory as it is if the system is running ok.

what make is your current psu, and how old is it ?

what sort of budget do you have for the graphics card ?

I don't know the manufacturer of the psu as it was a custom build. I just know it is 400w. I guess i could get more info if I removed the psu? the computer is just coming up to 3 years old. Around the £100-150 mark. This could change if a new psu is required.
