Upgrading pc help Please

My current system

i5 2500k
8GB Memory
MSI 6950
800 PSU
Normal HDD

Ok ive not updated my system in a long time so want to upgrade.

What other upgrades should I get to bring my pc bang up too date ?

SSD, get a big fat cooler and get at least 4.5Ghz from the CPU

You do have a P67/Z68/Z77 board to be able to overclock?

I was thinking about doing that , Is it easy to over clock my CPU ? What cooler should I get for my Antec 1200 Case ?

Should I get a Samsung Pro 256gb SSD ?

Yes Samsung do great SSD's so thats a good start.

There are overclocking guides for most of the main board manufacturers on the internet so you should be able to transfer over most settings to get you up and running.

What board and RAM do you have?

You Ram is tall, so you need to be careful when picking certain air heatsinks.

How much do you have to spend?

An All-in-One water cooler is a safe bet to clear your tall RAM sticks as there are no parts that over hang the RAM slots.

But I also know of one or two air coolers that will also clear tall RAM, also if you have just two sticks of RAM you can increase the clearance a bit more by placing them in slots 2+4 counting away from the CPU socket.
