Any ideas?

Upgrade the case, get a nice keyboard+mouse or monitor.

oh and a bigger SSD as 60GB gets eaten up very quickly.

I've got all the keyboard ect.. The SSD is a shout though.

I was looking more into a new cpu & motherboard?

No need for a new CPU and board. You even have a good almost average OC on it, don't think I have ever seen a 2500K that could not do 4.5GHz with a £25+ heatsink.

Get a nice big 256GB SSD which will hold a lot more games or apps etc.

Then look at all the nice modern cases available then look at your old 300 and think what could be.

New monitor just in case your "I've got all the keyboard ect.." didn't cover that part.
