Upgrading PC, need some advice

hey guys, Im upgrading my system and was just wondering a couple of things.

This is what iv specced up so far;

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz

Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-8500C5 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2N1066SR2GK)

OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - OEM

Thermaltake ToughPower 750W Modular Power Supply

Scythe Ninja Plus Rev.B CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)

Ok first thing is, will that Cooler fit in that motherboard? has anyone had any problems?

Also i dont know weather to wait for the GT or just spend alittle extra and get the GTX, i know the performance isnt that much better but im still within budget with the GTX.

Any other advice would be great.

go for a GT over the gtx.

make sure you order the OEM processor if you're getting a cooler as well.

Thanks, Im going to wait for the GT because then i can get a 22" widescreen within my £1000 budget!
