I've decided on only one component - The C2D E6300. Other than that, I'm stuck. Here's a list of what else I'm looking for:

Motherboard.
PSU.
RAM.
Graphics card.
Good fan so I can overclock the E6300.
(and possibly a new case).

I do have a budget. I think it'll be somewhere along the lines of £400 but I maybe able to push it if it's really worth it.

I'm not sure if the £400 includes the CPU or not but I've assumed it has here, the system is over-budget but is nicely balanced.

Yes it was including the CPU. Thanks. Looks good, not sure if the budget can reach that high though. If I were to downgrade one of those components, which one should I downgrade?

Would you be overclocking? And what sort of resolutions do you play at? If you are overclocking then you could knock the graphics card down to a 7600gt, if you aren't overclocking (or only a little) then you can get a cheaper motherboard and Ram.

Yeh I was gonna overclock it. And I usually play at 1280x1024, but that's only cause that's the max my current comp can handle...
