Upgrading Processor + Mobo question

Hey guys,

this may sound like a silly question, but I am wondering if, before upgrading to a new mobo and processor, I need to change anything on my Windows installation? Do I need to uninstall chipset drivers, or should it just work if I reconnect my HDD to the new board?

I will do a fresh install then, since that seems the most sensible option.
