In need of some help.. was upgrading my PS3 hdd to a faster Scorpio Black 500gb 7200rpm hdd earlier on.
Formatted the drive to FAT32 using Fat32Formatter. Put it in the PS3 then turned it on and now the drive is failing to boot and making clicking noise (sounding like its failing to spin up). The PS3 says its unable to recognise the drive. Same in Windows too.
I'm sure its had no static contact and never dropped. This drive was bought brand new only a few months ago.
Is there any good free recovery programs out or something like that?
