Upgrading ram, Geil value plus 8gb?

Hi,

I currently have 8gb of geil value plus 1600Mhz and im thinking of upgrading.

First of all is it worth me upgrading, i play games, use photoshop, watch videos on youtube and browse the internet.
Would i see any benefit upgrading from 8gb to 16gb?

i was looking to buy another 8gb of geil value pro but its been discontinued and i dont want to mismatch the ram if i do upgrade.

so what would you recommend?

8 GB is plenty unless you're running multiple vm's. I'm still on 4GB on both my machines without ever using it all.
