Upgrading RAM in overclocked bundle

Hi all,

My computer at the moment contains within it an overclocked bundle (RAM, CPU and mobo) from Ocuk I bought a while ago. Obviously the overclocking was done by Ocuk as I don't know enough about it. I'd like to double the RAM from the current 4gb (2x2gb) that's in there.

My question is twofold. First, as it's an overclocked bundle presumably the RAM is overclocked as well. Will adding more RAM affect this and is it fairly easy to overcome?

Secondly, would I be better off buying another 2 2gb modules or am I better off replacing the ones I've got with 2 4gb modules?

Thanks,

MD

You would be better off replacing the ram you have. Personally i have no experience overclocking ram, but this is some good ram:
YOUR BASKET
1 x TeamGroup Xtreem LV "Frost Edition" 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-21300C11 2666MHz Dual Channel Kit £71.99
Total : £80.69 (includes shipping : £7.25).

Or alternative if you are going to overclock the ram, this one is good for that:

YOUR BASKET
1 x TeamGroup Xtreem LV 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C10 2400MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (TXD38G2400HC10QDC01) £59.99
Total : £68.69 (includes shipping : £7.25).
