Upgrading Ram on a MacBookPro

im thinking about getting a MacBookPro the 15" 2.16GHz model. On changing the specs you can select to have the system you want. It allows you to get 2 x 512mb of ram instead of the 1 x 1 Gig stick. Getting the 2 x 512mb cuts off £60 to the price. Ive been looking around cant i cant find how many slots the laptop has for ram. If i was to want to get more ram , just not apples , so it would be cheaper would it make more sense to get the 1 Gig stick or the 2 x 512mb

If I were you I'd get the single 1GB stick for now, but I believe there are two slots :o
 
There are two slots. The best thing to do is get it from Apple with 1x 1GB and buy more from somewhere else if you need it.
