Upgrading Ram voiding warentee? Dell content

I've looked for the past hour online but can't find the answer- can anyone link me to a page on the dell site that confirms that I can or cant install my own ram without voiding my laptops warentee?

You can normally upgrade the RAM without voiding warranty, Most laptops have a little sticker over screws saying 'Warranty void if remove' if they don't want you to play about etc. I'd drop Dell an email to make sure then at least you've got it in writing
